Gosh I had no idea that this could happen. SO it would also happen with other species too no doubt.
More research is needed. People need to take better care of their fur babies and don't allow them to wander the streets. It is down to humans being lazy and not keeping their dogs in a secure yard, that results in unwanted puppies.
