Restriction, Confusion, Powerlessness

The card relates to the month of May and dates 21 to 30

Not a happy card, we are not happy campers, and you guessed it we're not in Kansas anymore Toto.

The year just keeps turning to poop as each month goes by. Is it the beginning of the end? It could well be.   

The lady in the card is out of her depth or comfort zone. She has swords almost all around her, except right in front of her. But because she is wearing a blindfold she is unable to see the road ahead. She is bound tightly and unable to do anything. Her home is behind her in the distance. Which indicates the past.  If she could free herself things would be better, however she can't free herself, other than in her mind.

 Now the mind is something that  cannot be easily controlled by others. That depends on if you share your opinions, feelings etc. Sometimes we need to hide those things from others, because it cant be folly to trust others. Right now is a classic example of that, as many of us feel powerless and severely restricted. 

Everyone is affected in some way by the worlds circumstances but how each individual handles it is different. People feel beaten and down trodden with the changes that are taking place. The new normal, is not a walk in the park and many are slowly coming to realise this fact. 

They ignored the warning signs for so long and now they find themselves trapped.  The question is though, is it their own fault? Is this a betrayal of public trust?  Did they allow this to happen? If so how do the public get themselves out of this mess?

They may not be able to, and need to think about that. This card is ruled by Saturn which tells me that evil is loose, once out it cannot be put back in it's box. The individual must free themselves from the situation. That is no easy task, and must be done carefully and wisely.

A mass revolt is not the answer that some may think. it could well be playing into the hands of evil. This would result in harsher punishment and a crack down on freedom as witnessed in Melbourne. 

There are those in powerful positions that could do something, but chose not to for very selfish reasons. The service to self type, they will only do what is good for them. This year's US election is the clincher also. I feel it will result in a harsh repercussion for the American people. 

So be it, they allowed this to happen, by allowing evil to take control.

To be blunt I do not see a way out of this for America, things have gone way too far, through arrogance, corruption, laziness and giving in to those against American values within the country.  

For the rest of the world I see people trapped by the restrictions that are ongoing and not letting up. Financial and food security in Europe as winter advances  and trade issues cause more restrictions. If only the people would demand the end of the EU dictatorship, but sadly many have been fooled and still think it is a good thing. They cannot see the financial disaster and the social disaster this creates. It does not benefit anyone but those in power and big business as per design. Shall I say it is all in the numbers, literally?

The number 8 in Tarot

It can be positive or it can be negative, but I feel the time to be positive is gone and it is naive to think otherwise . You won't be seeing a positive change for many years to come.

Restriction, self-discipline and self control. The number 8 vibrates to the energy of Saturn. Saturn rules agriculture, civilisation, social order, restrictions. You guessed it, the time is now for forcing the new world order down our throats.  Notice I mentioned food problems in Europe for winter, this could be the start of things and also, not much grown in winter and if restrictions on importing are in place guess what is going to happen? Not enough food.  This is not accidental, NO, not by a long shot and those that are keeping a watchful eye on world events are fully aware of this fact. Cause and effect, this is deliberate so pay attention and  wise up fast or you will regret it.

There is no turning back from this. No dress rehearsal, well actually there was but most people were asleep at the wheel, this is it right now for a few years. You will notice the change in diet, which you have very little control over. Travel well that is never going to be the same with the influence of Saturn travel will be restricted, I honestly cannot say how long for at this stage. 

PS: I recommend people look up the astrological meanings and cycles of Saturn and Jupiter. I am not an astrologer so I do not want to give any misleading information. Also you would be advised to look up the numbers relating to the planets and the star signs . It is all connected as the Tarot cards themselves are infused with these sciences.  

   

Tarot card of the month, September 2020: Page of Cups

 

Emotions, Love, Intimacy

Here I am early again with the Tarot card of the month. For some reason I have been itching to do this card for a few days. I think I know why, there is going to be a burst of activity in September.

As I pick up the card,  I hear the word naivety. This is young people throwing caution to the wind. Foolishly yet again, I see irresponsible behaviour in the spot light again. Rebellious youth, which feels like the east coast of Australia, in places such as Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland (Brisbane or the Gold Coast). this is because the weather is warming up again. The authorities will have their hands full again. Queensland police will be kept busy again. This is young people defying public orders.

The people will not go quietly and I see some sort of shake up, which will involve harsher new laws and punishments.  I do not see this virus stopping any time soon, in fact I do feel it will be with us perhaps in to next year.

I do not see much in the way of travel, I also feel that when overseas travel is permitted it will be only in small numbers, and will depend on the destination. I feel many places will be closed of for at least a year or two at this stage as changes are put in place. This is a deliberate thing to stop people travelling.

I do not feel this restricted travel is about the virus really, it is about control. 

As I look at the cup or chalice in the right hand of this youth/ page there is a surprise afoot for us, not sure what it is, but I do not see it as a positive thing. It feels more illusionary. 

The wool being pulled over our eyes, so stay vigilant, this is the government world wide involved, I feel it is more deception afoot.

Pay attention to money and finance in the news also, there seems to be lies or smoke screens around this and we must be vigilant. Try not to get caught up in the conspiracy stuff. Yes there may be a little truth but there is a hell of a lot of lies too.  Read the signs.

I may update this as it is a bit early in the month so tomorrow I may have a bit more time to look into this.

To be honest I am now of the opinion this “virus “ is not going away this year. We just have to keep an eye on the situation and not do anything stupid.

If you look at the photos you will not see any social distancing. Is it any wonder that millennial's are called the death wish generation. They are selfish and egotistical of all generations. Tarot card of the month: Three of swords , August 2020

Betrayal, Heartbreak, deception, loneliness  

Three of swords is not a happy little card and it indicates things are not going well. Gee there is a surprise....not! We are not sitting in a good position at present and it is looking to get worse.

Many people are aware that things in the world are not as we are being told. This card highlights that and much more. It looks like the wool is pulled down further over our eyes as time goes on. This is clearly not a good sign. It is for want of a better term, blind comfort to some that choose not to see what is happening around them. This can be on a personal level and well as on a world wide level.

I am intending this as a world wide issue though.  Reality is hitting home to many but so is anger and fear of the unknown. People do not know who to trust or who to turn to. This is due to the lies and manipulation of fats in the political world and how it flows on to the population in issues such as COVID 19, BLM, Unemployment,  the financial situation world wide and its flow on effect to the ordinary person trying to find work, pay bills, rent or mortgage etc.

We have the outright deception of world leaders and the US election looming which generated more lies and deception from both sides. We have the Epstein case  that is causing more smokescreens and deception. 

In between this are the ordinary people struggling to survive, the vulnerable and the poor, disabled the homeless etc. Their world is a frightening place and they see no hope in sight. One must be realistic here and not sugar coast any of this, because there is a message here for all of humanity. All is NOT right and never was. It is now coming to light and we are in a very bad situation that is only going to get worse from here on in.

This was allowed to happen, this is not accidental, none of this needed to happen. It was made to happen. This affects every person on the planet one way or an other.

now looking at the number three, that is an important number in numerology and for humanity on a spiritual level. Three stands for  idealism, higher education,foreign travel, mind, body & spirit  Trinity, expansion and movement It vibrates to the planet Jupiter.

Now as we can see COVID 19 has affected Education, especially higher education and overseas students , movement (travel to and from work, visiting people,/family overseas travel, transport import export etc.)

The three of swords covers the Autumn/fall in the Northern hemisphere    and Spring in the Southern hemisphere. The Three of swords covers 3 October to 12 October, so expect news then as the weather changes. I do not get a very good feeling with this. I feel a build up of tension in the Northern hemisphere and anger. That may be due to the US elections getting closer and nasty things will be happening in the media and in the streets. My advice is keep right away from it.

This seems like a game changer event so anything can happen. I get the feeling of violence erupting again and feel it comes from the Democrat team to sway the voters. Voters will not be swayed by anyone, they know who they want as president. I do feel Trump needs to boost his security with the lead up to the election day. He must not play it cool and brave or he may be in for a nasty shock.

He thinks he knows the score but he doesn't, I do feel there is a strong element of danger too his person and staff. He must beef up security, I would start it now if I were him.

I see Australians being rather worried about money, job security and when this COVID is going to go away. That virus is not going to go away. I feel it will just be lurking around and from time to time people will become infected just like the flu season. We just have to live with it.

People in Australia seem to have a different mood than the Northern hemisphere people, perhaps it is because we have more sunshine but they seem to give off a different vibe.

August though will be chilly in Australia as we hit the last month of winter and people will be glad when spring comes. on the other side of the planet that spells gloom. Winter is about to start and people head back indoors shortly. I feel a last minute of frolicking in the sun will be a must for many people. England especially, they really crave the warmth and sunshine as many do not get enough sunshine, which is not good for the human body.

Watch out for Boris Johnson making some flabbergasting statements. The public either laugh and think, " is he for real" or they become very angry, depending on the comments he makes.  One thing is for sure, he comes from the same gene pool as Trump, Oh dear!

Tarot card of the month, Death, July 2020

Endings, Elimination, Transition. Inexorable forces 

Well there ya go, the card of the month DEATH. I kind of expected something like this, with the way things are going. The number 13 breaks down to 4 in Numerology. Basically it is about stabilizing power positively or negatively.

Notice all the subtle symbols in the card. First thing that I see is the flag with the house of York white rose on a black backing, duality. The tarot cards use a lot of medieval images when you look closely at the clothes people are wearing and other symbols such as the colours, grey, yellow, white, black and blue. 

The king in the card could be one of the Edwards given the cards are in medieval style, I need to google that and post at the bottom of the post.

Notice the King is lying dead and his crown has fallen off. A loss of power to a higher power. A child looking up to the horse and the knight riding the horse, the knight symbolized as death itself . The child is innocent and naïve and understands nothing. The woman cannot look at death, she turns her head away facing the left hand side (feminine side)  The bishop is pleading for mercy before death, the great leveller.  Can you see the little cross on the back of the bishops hand?  His crozier or shepherds crook ( Kundalini energy or serpent energy) is lying on the ground, even he is defeated by this powerful force. Is this an end to the age of pieces?  The bishops hat is the crown of the fisher king and relates to the age of pieces.  

Then in the background is a golden sunrise between two pillars.  In your face occult message right there, and it signifies the change we are facing right now as a human collective.  The two pillars are a common symbol in Freemasonry ( establish in strength) as is the sun (solar deity).  There is also a little boat in the background too, a messenger perhaps, or a collector of souls. Notice the trees are bent as if a strong wind is blowing them, this is a sudden change.

We are now entering  a new age where we leave the past behind and accept the "new normal"   people do not know what to expect at this point. They will just follow the leader if you will.   Just when things seemed to be easing a sudden curve ball hits us. We need to stay focussed on what is happening worldwide right now because it is very crucial for all of us.  

Things will change from here on in, we know that and have been told to accept this by the government. This is a strong power moving us along. It will be so easy for the masses to be swept up in the changes, because they do not  read the signs along the way. I am just looking at the card again and notice three people are left standing after the king is dead (deposed) Three levels of society left, three levels of consciousness.

Yes, you could say there is a spiritual element to what is happening right now in the world. It has been foretold after all. However if one's eyes are open to the spiritual realities the  message is very different to what the average person reads in the signs and warnings. I don't think this is the start of the proverbial Golden age that is often mentioned. No one can tell us when that actually is or perhaps it could be they are not willing to tell us when it starts. I find that rather odd.

One thing I notice is the Death tarot card related to October 23 to November 21  (Scorpio) so there for ruled by that zodiac sign and planet it is assigned to. I have never looked into the dates on cards that much to be honest but if you go on line you can find websites that tell you which tarot card correlated to what date, time, season etc. I do have all this stuff  printed off, for my own personal use, however I go with feeling when I read the cards for a client. I see an image for the time of year such as cold weather clothes or hot weather clothes on a person, trees with leaves on/ off etc. 

So I don't generally use the dates relating to the individual cards.

I often hear the month or feel it claircognizantly just the same as other things when doing a reading or even just in my everyday life. I get a knowing of feeling of things and make not of it.   

Now back to the card of the month, I do feel the protests and unrest will be put under control soon, but I feel we have some more strife to come. 

After this I feel a crack down will happen. I cannot put an exact time on it but in the warm weather this year, that is Australian time, winter for the top end of the world.

 If you are smart keep right out of it. This is a battle between the lefties and government and the usual thugs.

But those individuals are working for your enslavement make no mistake about it. You are being led into the change whether you realise it or not. I can tell you these idiots have no idea what they are bringing on themselves, they are being used. Ever heard of useful idiots? Well that's them, the joke is on them. But the punishment is on the human collective.

I do feel this year will just keep going down and down from here on in. I keep right out of all of this other that pass comment on my blog. I will have no part in evil. I advise sensible people to keep out of this too and focus on your loved ones including your fur babies. 

Tarot card of the month: The Chariot. June 2020

This card represents firm control over current situations,. Whether it's COVID 19 or any other aspects of life for the month of June. I get a feeling that this will be a very busy month  in many respects , especially financially.  It will not be easy for many people dealing with the energy of this month.

People are now pushing the envelope now that lockdown is lifting in some places.  We need to be very careful and not over do things. Pent up frustrations could mean trouble with the authorities in some instances. Be warned and pull your head in. It is not worth getting into trouble.

This is not the time to be proud and mighty. We are still in a precarious situation and as I said finances will be in the spotlight. Do not spend what you don't have and do not go bananas as soon as you get the chance to shop. You could find yourself short of cash.

Many people are wanting to get out and have fun, be that as it may, one needs to be careful. This virus is still out there and more deaths are obviously still going to happen. Do not take risks, be careful of who you are associating with , we are not all fit and healthy and it only takes one person to cause an infection to spread. 

To me it feels like the half way mark, so I am being extra cautious. The man controlling the chariot reminds me of a person that wants to be in charge of the whole situation, I would say that sums up Donald Trump. 

In the northern hemisphere it could well be quite a very warm summer. However in the southern hemisphere, it may be a damp cold winter. Mainly for east coast Australia.  I get the feeling that over winter in Australia the out doors means lets go eat somewhere nice.  Food to nourish the soul.

Can't argue with that  one, lol. 

Stay safe and look after your loved ones and we will come through this, but do not forget the word of warning about finances. Yes we are heading for hard times. Keep that in mind, and don't spend what you don't have.  Most important don't dwell on the negative, just be aware and take precautions.

  

Tarot card of the month: May 2020, Five of Swords

Ass kicking time, looks like this will be a month of action.

Keeping this as a basic no frills card of the month at present. 

Times are changing and the clouds are dissipating, no it is not all over yet, but it is the start of the end 

of the pesky COVID 19. Hang in there a bit longer peeps. This is us starting to flatten the curve so to speak, so yes this is good, but we have a little bit longer yet.

Changes are afoot here and some of this is on a financial level. There is not much we can do though but try our best to ride it out. Which can be rather difficult for some individuals 

depending on the welfare system of their country. As I have said in the 2020 predictions we are heading into bad times. It creeps in slowly as it affects some people but not everyone.

Some much more so than others.

The man depicted in the card holding three swords is standing tall and looking smug and self righteous.  Not a wise thing he is armed to the teeth to take on his enemies and perhaps COVID 19.

The hair colour reminds me of President Trump as does the self righteous smugness. This is not a good look, not a wise thing to do. He maybe in the right but it depends on how he handles the situation that matters. I do see things going on behind the scenes that we the public are not aware of.

He is gunning to take down two male people. I do not like the look of this. I do feel it will take a couple of months before we see the bigger picture of what is going on.

Meanwhile in Australia for May the weather is cooling down, we are heading into flu season now and we will be hunkering down for that, much as people want to get back to normal, it is best to just chill

a little bit longer. I do see people starting to make home made soup and becoming quite inventive. Lovely, winter soups are a good healthy and cheap meal for families. 

I feel we will see many young people dabbling in the kitchen and combining  a mix various ethnic flavours and coming up with a winner, with  new twists on traditional home cooking. 

With any luck we may have new budding chefs coming out of this, how lovely.

I hear the words "facts laid bare on the table", as I study the little man on the card holding three swords. Notice his right hand gripping the sword, he is itching for a fight, but the advice would be, hold your horses and 

don't start what you can't finish. I feel this could relate to Mr Trump as well as regular people. Emotions are quite high right now so we need to stay cool and also think of others in these very difficult times.

  Pause and reflect on the issue before reacting, get facts right rather than having egg on your face. Hmmm I think there is a lesson for all of us there boys and girls, lol.

Tarot Card of the month; April 2020, The Emperor

Interesting card to pop up for April. It represents Authority, government, structure, religion etc. Which is interesting because Scott Morrison is a member of Hillsong.

The Emperor card represents a fatherly and authoritative figure, who is well meaning and wise. But he is no ones fool.

He tries to guide us in ways that he thinks are best for us. The Emperor has the years of wisdom and knowledge to back up what advice he gives us.

 The Emperor can be a religious person and this is seen by the symbols on the card. Such as the ankh held in his right hand (male energy) which is the ancient Egyptian symbol for life. In his left hand (female energy) he holds an orb which represents his royal dominion on earth.

Sometimes the Emperor holds a scepter with a fleur de lis on top which symbolises the flower of light or the heraldic lily, emblem of fire and royalty. The fleur de lis is also known as the crown of Nimrod.

 The ram's heads on the throne represent the first star sign Aries which is ruled by the planet Mars. 

The Emperor card is ruled by the number four (4) and the consort card is the Empress card which is ruled by the number three (3). The number four stands for solidity, earth and form, authority, government, regulation, suppression of hostility and rebellion.

Notice the throne on which the Emperor sits is very solid and heavy looking. Frim rulership on a firm platform, no ifs or but's. His feet firmly planted on the ground and he is wearing a suit of armor under his robes. No on will mess with him, is the message he is sending out. If push comes to shove he will settle things once and for all.

Do not be surprised if during the month of April there are very strict regulations enforced on the public to keep law and order.

We could see a stronger police presence or military presence if people are going to start fighting over food and other commodities. It would be very unwise to do anything stupid right now because the full force of the law will come down upon you.

More restrictions are coming because of the current situation,  But remember when it comes to Scott Morrison, love him or leave him, he is the prime minister,  but he is only as good as his advisors. 

If he is given poor quality information, he is the one the public turn on. Not the people that gave him the wrong or poor information.  So Mr Morrison may be best to fact check things for himself before making a public announcement, some factions within the ranks may try to make him look foolish and this is why I say he should fact check and trust no one. 

Basically we the Australian people need to listen up, shut up and follow the rules or it will bite us on the bum.  Keep things harmonious and help our fellow man. No trying to buck the system or deliberately not following orders. Ignorance is no excuse either. We have the news updates world wide at our finger tips. So no one on this planet cannot say they didn't know the score, that does not wash in the current situation. You have been warned and the times are changing fast.

Tarot Card of the month: March 2020, The King of Cups

Element: Water female energy, passive

            

Direction: West

Zodiac: Pisces

The key meanings of the King of Cups card are, emotions, intuition, diplomacy, wisdom, clam, tolerance and creativity.

With current world events as well as an individual's current circumstances it is a highly symbolic card. Take heed of the warnings! As you know there is a positive and a negative aspect to each tarot card. I try to stick to the positive interpretations, you can basically swap the meanings over to the negative but it is best to think positive lest we attract the negative by holding the thought.

Starting with the description of the background of the card, you see the grey sky, representing spirituality. Below that is a blue/green sea with the waves crashing around the king on his throne. Blue and green are colours also aligned to the heart chakra as in emotions and healing.

Notice the little fish to the right representing emotions and on the left a ship also representing travel or journeying of the mind. The important thing here is to keep our thoughts and emotions in balance or under control. The throne is on a slab of rock and is quite stable as it floats on the turbulent waves. The king looks unphased by the situation. He is calm and composed and can therefore think clearly.

His eyes are showing him deep in thought and looking left, which from the southern hemisphere is looking west. Notice above the Direction is west also. 

Looking at the king's clothes notice the blue robe he wears, reflecting emotions and a healing energy aligned to the heart chakra. he wears a yellow/golden cloak which is also a positive spiritual colour aligned to the solar chakra, he has trims of red alluding to passion and emotions and the base chakra.

Notice the chain on his neck with the fish? This is again to do with the emotions and mind and the star sign Pisces.

The kings right foot is slightly touching the edge of the rock, perhaps in a steadying  position as you wold not have your feet together to steady your balance.

In the kings hands are a chalice or cup in his right hand and what looks like a rod in his left hand, balancing of power and emotions.

The cup suite refer to the season of Autumn/Fall. This time of year in Australia marks the Autumn.1st March is the official start of Autumn, however it is best to use the equinox/ solstice date 21 March.

So the take away message is for us to be wise like the king and stay grounded and spend a little time in a meditative state weighing up what is going on in our lives and external things affecting us through the month of March.

We must not let things get the better of us emotionally speaking. This could be disastrous otherwise. One other meaning with the King of Cups card is the person can have a bit of "foot in mouth"  saying the wrong thing but still meaning well.

Tarot Card of the month ' February 2020: Knight of Swords

Element : Air linked to intellect and instability

The Knight of Swords card is a swift moving card. It is a "tell us what you really think" card.
The key words are direct/blunt, authoritative/overbearing, incisive/cutting, knowledgeable/opinionated, logical/unfeeling.

As you can see this is a card that may make some people uncomfortable and given the current issues going on in the world at present it is understandable. We have left the Christmas and new year season behind us and now we face a serious road ahead.

This card shows us that questions are being asked about current events as people seek the truth over events like the Australian bushfires which are  still on going, the Trump impeachment fiasco, Brexit fiasco the Corona virus etc. Some of these event will drag on all year in one form or an other as we strive for answers. These answers will not come easy due to cover ups and corruption. Some though can see right to the heart of the matter.

Now looking at the card itself , notice the blue sky with clouds moving fast as there is a very strong wind blowing them. The knight charges into battle with his sword raised high , he is unafraid of the task ahead. The trees bend in the strong wind which the knight is riding straight into.


The knights'  horse running fast under the control of the knight, the poor horse looks rather worried.
You will notice the knights vizor is up and not covering his face as when in battle. His helmet has a red plume of feathers ( feathers represent air) matching his red cloak. Red being the colour of anger, passion, war, anger,  the house of York, this  itself goes back to the ancient Egyptian royal houses of upper and lower Egypt) Remember the Tarot deck includes ancient Egyptian symbology for a reason.

The horse is wearing a harness with butterflies, these butterflies represent spiritual transformation and souls.Notice this horse is white,  you could say a pale horse (beware a pale horse).
The clouds on the card can represent the psychic veil between both worlds being parted.
This card indicated high emotions too so we must be very careful this February.

The trees are Cypress trees from Greek mythology and are sacred to the goddess Venus and represent emotions.

Yes emotions will run high and people need to think carefully before reacting. facts need to be correct before we speak or it will turn out very badly. We need to use our intuition and stay true to our beliefs, no wavering.

Tarot card of the month: The Hermit, January 2020

The Hermit card meanings are wisdom, prudence, reflection, consideration and inaction as opposed to direct action.
Ruled by the star sign Virgo and the planet Mercury and the element earth.

The Hermit leans on his staff of authority and wisdom which he needs on his spiritual journey. He holds his lantern in front of him to illuminate his path on his journey. Notice the six pointed star within his lantern, this is the seal of Solomon which represents wisdom.
He is standing on solid ground with his eyes facing south as he confidently makes his journey, and leaning on his staff of wisdom. The hermit is a wise man not given to foolish whims, years of wisdom and experience have taught him well.

His lantern stands for illumination and wisdom and the light of reason. His cloak is the mantle of self possession, his staff is for the everlasting forces of nature, life, faith, strength and comfort, to lean on in hard times.

The white under his feel stands for spiritual purity, the squiggly line at his feet is a snake which alludes to spiritual energy of the kundalini energy which resides coiled like a snake in the base chakra and rises up the spine.

The number 9 on the card is the number of initiation, completeness, male energy and aggression, courage, conflict, originality, intuitive action and penetration.
Arthur waite put a lot of phallic symbology into the Tarot deck, (wands suite) via the Cabala and psychology, it is male dominated energy.

The Hermit as his title suggests has shunned the company of man to live a life of seclusion and hardship.  He is on a spiritual journey so he needs to connect with his higher self and seeks solitude and grounding. He is a beacon of light and hope and the still centre in times of uncertainty. He represents the need to withdraw from the harsh world when things get too hectic.

Now for the month of January this is a good card and rather timely too. It is the end of a turbulent   decade and the start of a new one,  and we are still reeling from the chaos of the past few months.

Now we need to go within and examine what has happened, some of us are traumatised from the bushfires here in Australia and the inaction or late actions of the government in times of crisis has many people upset.

January needs to be a time to sort out our priorities in life and our core values on a spiritual level.
Are we truly happy with our lives at present? What can we do to make life better for ourselves and others?

Only by turning inwards and not turning to rage and anger can we find the answers that we seek. We need a calm and rational mind and a good firm grounding to find our answers to our current situations, both on a personal and universal level. Patience grasshopper! 😁

The Hermit does not rush things or he will miss the message, we need to be patient and diligent this month, communication may be slow or misunderstood too.

Tarot Card of the month: 8 of Wands, December 2019

Oh boy this s a curly one for the silly season, but it is also very apt for the last month of the year.
The 8 of wands signifies endings or conclusions, quick action needs to be taken and news/ communication.

This card tells us there are many options available at this point in time and a choice needs to be made as quickly as possible to avoid missing out. Important news may come to you which you need to act on straight away. A key thing to remember is in relation to hearing news, there may be information that is incomplete.
So keep your mind sharp and alert. Looking at the number 8 on the card, the energy of the number 8 must never be taken for granted. It is as powerful as it is destructive.

You could have it all and just as easily lose it all , especially if this is a birth number. It is the great leveller and make no mistake about that. Mess with the energy of the number 8 and it will bite you on the bum. Learn to balance the energy of the temporal or physical world with that of the spiritual world. Energy must always be kept in balance or disaster happens.

Metaphysically it is called the karmic equaliser, but once you understand the truth about this world and how we are set up to fail from the get go, you know that karma and all of this reality is a lie perpetrated on all of humanity. A bit of research will easily reveal this fact.

Any hoo, notice there is more blue sky in the image than necessary! That is alluding to air or spirit to be precise. The wands are falling fast from the sky and hitting the earth or penetrating the earth, (our reality) fast moving events are under way in December so stay vigilant. Examine all news or information very carefully or you will miss the hidden message.  That message could be vital especially for Australia at present. Not all is as it seems as presented in the media.

It's entirely possible,  this could be to do not just with ordinary people in their private lives but also politically. There is upheaval afoot and fast action needed to head off disaster. I can think of several areas where our government is letting the Australian people down right now.


Looking  now at the small amount of green grass on the foreground and then a body of water. The water is consciousness which is expansive just like spirit. Then there is what could be taken as an island with a few scattered trees and a house or a castle. A bit like a citadel away from all of the disharmony of the outside world. Will this peace be shattered by the wands falling to the earth? Given the sparsity of the trees this indicates  strong winds blowing. Fast moving energy in other words.
So it could mean problems nationally for Australia.

The number 8 is like a lemniscate standing upright. It means balance and order, but also ending of cycles and new cycles beginning. Here we are at the end of a decade and about to enter a new decade.
I have covered the basics of the number 8 above. So should you need to know more on the number 8, I advise finding a good numerology website. I am not a numerologist sadly.

Tarot Card of the month, October 2019, The King of Pentacles

Element: Earth, Planet, Mercury  Zodiac Taurus

This is quite a fruitful card for October when read in the upright position. Notice the ruling planet is Mercury which is the planet for communication. It is funny this card pops up again so soon. It came up in July also. That would be a reminder to stay on track.

Starting with the background, the sky is a golden yellow, which is very fortunate. It represents joy, happiness, success, intellect the solar chakra . So that is a good start. Next we look at the castle, which tells us he is a self made man and has good stable foundations, as does the lush and fertile foliage behind him. The water represents consciousness, Next we see the stone wall behind him (battlement) his boundaries are secure.

The throne has four bulls heads, the four cardinal points as well as the constellation of Taurus and the star sign of Taurus. I wonder if it also represents the Apis bull of  Memphis in ancient Egypt too? You will note the horns are blunted on the bull heads showing he is tamed or subdued by the king.

The king wits on his throne wearing many symbolic symbols, starting with his crown. Which bears roses and lilies, the colours of which are also important, Red and white. They allude to upper Egypt and lower Egypt's ancient royal houses and also the House of Lancaster and the house of York.
 The red roses represent power, passion and control. The white lilies represent spiritual purity, truth, virtue, etc. It is also the flower for the month of May. Spring time rebirth and renewal.  Isn't it interesting that white lilies are often used in marriage ceremonies and funerals , signifying rebirth and renewal or transformation.

Below the crown is a wreath of laurels representing wisdom,victory and clairvoyance. Next we notice the grape vines all over the kings tunic, this is a symbol of alchemy, transferring grapes into wine or the physical into spirit. Alcohol is also known as spirits. The vines are also symbolic of fertility.


The king is wearing a suit of amour showing he is more than capable to go into battle either spiritually speaking or actual physical battle, however he prefers to use his intellect.
In his right hand is the sceptre representing his rule over the temporal world, the right hand side of the body represents masculine power or energy and the left hand side represents the feminine power and energy, these are both spiritual and temporal (physical).

The pentacle represents both money and humanity, the round shape (the circle around the pentacle) represents spirit.  You could even say encapsulates man, or even traps him into the temporal world until he learns his spiritual wisdom and truth.

Looking at the left foot resting on a crocodile or alligator, which is an ancient Egyptian symbol for Sobek the Egyptian god associated with the river Nile.

There are so many deeper symbology meaning that are attached to the individual Tarot cards that only people in the know will only ever know. But it makes for great study in myths and symbology anyway.

Now for the month of October this in an upright interpretation suggests all is well and on track for the nation and the individual. Hard work is put in to make sure  a successful outcome is guaranteed.
We must keep plugging away in order to be in control of our daily lives and not rest on our laurels half way through.

This is a positive card to help us reflect on what is happening in our lives at present. Reversed it implies things are out of control and our behaviour is ego based and must be curtailed.
One must be benevolent to those that need us, but not to be taken advantage of either. Middle ground
and common sense must prevail.

Tarot card of the month, September: The Star

 Element:  Air      Zodiac: Aquarius   Planet: Neptune

The Star is the 17th card in the major  arcana. You will notice the 8 stars are all eight pointed stars also. The card stands for serenity, Inspiration, generosity and hope. But be ware this card has a flip side that challenges our perception of reality. Be careful not to be tricked or fooled by what you think is happening. This could turn out to be a mind game. All of the tarot cards have positive and negative meanings.


Notice the water in the forefront, representing the mind and intuition. The lady is holding two jugs or pitchers and pouring out the water equally, creating balance and harmony. There are five little streams of water on the ground as she pours the water on to the ground representing the five physical world senses.

The left hand side of her body represents the female and psychic side of her (subconscious), the right represents male energy (conscious).

Interesting that is is for the month of September which is ruled by the zodiac sign Libra and the planet Venus.  Which are symbols of love, harmony and balance.

The naked lady represents spiritual purity and innocence, she has one foot on land and one foot in the water, indicating she has a foot in both worlds. She is loving and benevolent in her care and duties to others but she is vulnerable.

Notice the tree in the background has three branches and an Ibis on top ( personally I do not like the symbol of the Ibis, I feel it has negative vibrations and I do not like the Egyptian occult symbology as I find it very dark). The tree alludes to the tree of life. The mountain in the background is obstacles to be overcome.
Notice the bright blue sky representing joy and knowing there are better days ahead.

Now for the number eight, which is similar to the lemniscate or infinity symbol which is also similar to the DNA chain.

The number eight is about balance and harmony above all else in its meaning. It is creative as well as destructive in its force. Number eight can bring abundance, but always remember its flip side.

Notice the number eight is shown by the card number (adding the 1 and the seven) Then st stars with eight points in each. Adding all that up it comes to 72 which breaks down to the number 9 in numerology.

Nine is the male energy and the number for communication also. Nine can be aggressive or compassionate and cares for others, so it is pretty good to see the positive energy of the number nine  tying in with  the energy of this card, and for the month of September.

What this card tells me is for the month of September keep your hopes up if you are looking for change in your life. Keep thinking positive, nothing lasts for ever if you are going through a downturn. Know it is at an end soon. Keep your expectations realistic.

You may experience some act of generosity or may be the one being generous to others in need.
Follow your intuition with important matters this month and remember spring time has nice new energy after the deep winter slumber.   New life means new hope so enjoy this month on  personal level and stay hopeful.

Tarot card of the month: August 2019, 5 of Pentacles

Element: Earth, Grounding  

Planet: Mercury, Communication , Wisdom

Zodiac: Leo   which is the fith star sign in the zodiac 

An interesting card of the month this time, the five of Pentacles. Not a good card for some people.
This is an interesting mixed bag for many of us.

In readings this card can show health aspects, relationship or finances. In a health layout it would mean a  slow recovery from illness or injury, but recovery no less. In finances it shows low income, poverty and suffering hardship. This card also signifies pilgrimage which is either  an internal journey of the soul or an actual pilgrimage of some sort, not necessarily religious though.

Relationship wise, rejection, being used like a door mat or on the outer. This also means friendships not just romantic relationships.

The symbols in the card are interesting in their own right starting with the stained glass window of what could be a church.

The design looks very similar to the Cabbala tree of life, there are 5 pentacles and the Roman numeral V for 5 which adds up to ten. 1 and the zero, 1 for primary source (god)  and zero is the force of the universe/god/spiritual energy to add more power to the number 1. There are ten sephiroth to the tree of life and thus  two 5's  depicted in the window on the 5 of pentacles add up to 10.

The number five in tarot cards always stands for the human spirit and human being. The head arms and limbs add up to 5 which is the human template. Also 5 toes and 5 fingers on hands and feet not to forget the 5 physical senses.



 At the top corners there is what looks like two castles or houses, stability

This window is part of a church where the couple may have been seeking alms.  They continue on their journey to safety and possible success.

It is winter time in the picture as the couple are walking through snow. Notice the lady is bare foot and the man is only wearing one shoe. His other foot is bandaged, as is his head. He still struggles on with the aid of crutches through the snow. He struggles to catch up to the woman. Why is she not helping him?  Perhaps he is to proud to ask for help.

If you look closer you will see both of them are wearing blue tops, her's is mostly hidden under her warm shawl. Blue is a healing colour and ties in with the throat chakra.

The snow underfoot can be read as purifying or an  isolating influence from others.

For the month of August it may be a difficult time for some people, just have faith in yourself that things will turn out better in the end. Nothing stays the same for ever.

You may have to take matters into your own hands to solve your own problems, do not rely on others. They may not want to help even if they can.

If you have gotten on the wrong side of others this is a time when it will come back to bite you. So you may well be on the outer.

Make careful and sensible choices and do not expect others to bail you out of any trouble that you may have gotten yourself into, especially financially. Do not borrow money if you can avoid it.

For Australia as a whole this could be a slight recession starting to bite, just know it wont last long.
Australia may be taking an unpopular stand on the world stage, however our government must do what it feels is right for Australians first. We should not wade into things that will make people upset, and provoke unwanted repercussions.


Roll on spring time for some cleansing energy, I think we need it.

Tarot Card Of The Month: June 2019 Ace Of Wands

Ah the Ace of Wands, a nice card to start winter here in the Southern hemisphere.  Aces are always positive, standing for new beginnings. Notice the gray in the background which is spiritual. The hand of fate or God bursting through the clouds offering you some hope and options . Positive inspiration just at the right time.

The wand is brimming with fertile thoughts, creation, ideas and high energy. Offering all sorts of possibilities to you. It is up to you the individual whether you grasp the moment or not.

The water in the card is important too, pay attention to the direction the water is flowing because that relates ti the circumstances in your life and the direction your thoughts and actions are taking you.

Remember water caries a vibrational frequency the same as we do and we are 70% water in out composition. Water affects our consciousness, and what we think we create.

Notice the fertile green grass and trees in the forefront of the card, it is a win win situation with such a nice card. In the near distance there is a castle which is the near future  a rest and in comfortable surroundings due to you taking the right direction in life. The mountains is in the distant future means overcoming obstacles. They are not high mountains either so reaching your goal is easier than you thought.


All will be OK so please don't worry, is one interpretation of the card.

Now is a good time to start a new project, relationship, job etc.

The seeds which you planted (metaphorically) will now bear fruit.

You are on the right track so keep going, but listen to your intuition.

Fate is lending you a hand, take the help that is offered.

Wisdom, Inspiration, Clarity, Insight and Illumination.

Reversed of course has the opposite meaning, however I tend to avoid reverse readings. If a message of warning is to be given it will come through regardless.

Card of the month: 9 of Pentacles, February 2019

Well to start with this card "seems" to be rather ominous. We see a man with a bandage on his head
which signifies a wound, real or imagined. He is firmly holding a stave or wand in his hands for protection and grounding. Wands signify ideas and thoughts in the Tarot and thoughts are energy in motion.

Notice the gaps between the wands behind the man. They are like escape routes should he choose to use them. But also the wands or staves are behind him meaning they are in his past. They are not on the path that he is standing on, they are behind it. This also lets us know there is a degree of safety here as the wands are not touching him or on the path he is on.

The sky above him is a clear blue sky which is also a good sign as there are no clouds present.  Notice the man is looking over his shoulder looking to the past and worrying about his safety.
His sleeves are rolled up ready for hard work. Reminding us there is hard work to be done this month.

What this card is telling us is we must not dwell on the past lest it repeats itself. Change and difficulties are present but can be overcome. We must work hard to overcome these difficulties and hardships. We must stay focused and persevere no matter what.

February will be a difficult month for many people, so please take precautions. It is not a month to take risks. Firm goals and action need to be taken. Especially on a financial level.

Care must be taken in order to avoid martyrdom. This is a serious warning to people in general so please take heed. If you are short of money, please do not lend any or you will be in need of assistance from a charity. It is best to direct the person in need to such an agency (Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul etc).

Gossip in the work place is indicated too for the month of February, this also translates into the political sphere also. Loos lips sink ships remember ( Not Moose lips, lol).

Great care needs to be taken when communicating with others this month, what ever you do , please do not make the mistake of being the victim, so stand up for yourself and stand your ground. You do have the strength and the ability to do so.  Just remember to think before reacting, deep breath and count to 10.

February is a month of pressure and stress for many so be warned and if you can avoid the pressure and stress then it is advisable to do so. No one thanks a martyr, the just step over them and walk on.

Now a word of advice after saying this, you are the ruler of your own destiny, nothing is set in stone. If you have to do something then do it like a boss.

Tarot Card Of The Month: November 2017

Here we are in the month of November after a very difficult year for many. The page of Pentacles is the card that is drawn, and it is a good card. Full of hope eternal and a bit of youthful innocence. The Page on this card is the wisest of all the  four Pages in the Tarot deck.

The Page is very grounded in reality and reflective. Notice his red hat with a feather and a matching scarf, denoting wisdom. Also his green(green is for healing, balance, harmony and growth )  and gold (gold is spiritual wisdom and success) clothes and matching boots, express wisdom and attainment. In his hands is a pentacle which alludes to material gain and also spiritual knowledge.

The page is at the beginning of his journey and is very keen to learn. He has his eye on the future and is already skillful in knowing what he wants and how to go about getting what he wants.

This card tells s to be watchful and careful with our finance this month.  Those with the intent on finding a new job, now is the time to start the ball rolling. However stick to the truth , do not embellish your skills at a job interview or you will come unstuck.

This is a good card for school leavers too, reminding them to put in the effort in securing employment. A new life is before them which they are slowly carving out. Remember it is not all about money when you are starting out. You must start at the beginning and learn your skills.
Through diligence , you will master your craft or career, but this does not happen over night. You must make the effort.

 For those starting on a spiritual path, there is no quick way to enlightenment. one must tread the path slowly and carefully. Remember some paths are dead ends, stay open and flexible in your learning. That is where the true wisdom lies, knowing how to be discerning and open is the path to a higher understanding.


May I take this opportunity to say good luck to all the school leavers for 2017.  It's a big world out there, take your time and work out which path is right for you. Do not be pushed into anything that does not feel right for you.

Importantly if you have a drivers licence, stay safe on the roads at all times and remember it is not just  your safety that you need to be mindful of. Your passengers and other road users have families too. No one  wants you to take silly risks that could end in disaster.

It is better to arrive at your destination a few minutes late than not at all. Have a wonderful Christmas and a wonderful New year ahead.
